What are your plans as a Brand Ambassador? My goal as an ambassador is to inspire the next generation of engineers, surveyors, and forensic scientists by bridging real-world STEM applications with youth outreach. I plan to:
Introduce educational outreach initiatives tailored for students, showcasing how spatial mapping, surveying, and 3D technologies are applied in real-life problem-solving and forensic investigation.
Collaborate with local academic institutions, scientific councils, and youth programs to host interactive workshops and live demonstrations using 3D scanning equipment.
Share compelling visual stories and educational content on how surveying technologies play a critical role beyond standard construction—such as solving complex investigations and protecting public safety.
Tell us a bit about what you do: I am a Forensic Engineer and accident investigator with over 14 years of experience specializing in criminal and forensic investigation. My background includes a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Master’s in Engineering. In my day-to-day work, I use advanced spatial capture technologies—including 3D laser scanners, Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360, ArcGIS, and BIM/Revit—to reconstruct complex incident scenes, analyze structural mechanics, and map real-world environments with high precision.
Anything else you’d like to add? I believe showing kids the “detective” side of surveying and spatial science is a powerful way to spark curiosity. When students realize that tools like 3D scanners, drones, and GIS aren’t just for building roads—but are actively used to solve real-world mysteries, model complex physical environments, and protect communities—it transforms how they view STEM careers.
