Unearthing The Past
Archaeology is the study of past human life through the things people left behind — buildings, tools, pottery, bones, and even graffiti! But today’s archaeologists don’t just dig with shovels… they work alongside surveyors, who use high-tech tools like drones, laser scanners, and ground-penetrating radar to map and explore ancient sites. This is called archaeological surveying, and it’s one of the coolest careers in the geospatial world!

Last year Get Kids into Survey decided to focus on brand growth as it’s our aim to ‘Inspire future geospatial experts’, in order to do this we need to get in front of as many people as possible who will help towards our mission. Very kindly Topcon facilitated the expansion of our Brand Ambassador programme by sponsoring the creation of the Brand Ambassador Hub. This is the start of a very exciting journey to build up a community of like minded surveyors who enjoy going out and doing outreach to the next generation.
